She is an indie author. Her native language is Croatian. She started with a blog where she described life situations like satire stories. Then she made a collection of 4 self-help books. After this, she decided to write short stories based on real events. She is between romance, drama, and thriller.

Amazon Summary

This is a book for women who passed through breakups. Find how to get over your failed relationship. Men might be interested how to face it with illusions about their ex-lovers. The previous relationship is sometimes the obstacle for a new romance.

Goodreads Summary

This book is written for women who passed through a hard break-up. You can enjoy in real stories with a dose of sarcasm. I wanted to inspire you to stand up and smile after your personal defeat. This book reveals both sides, how to handle a break-up and the pressure after you leave your partner.
It is not the same to be abandoned or to get out from a relationship. Here are examples and stories about couples who learn their lesson in a harder way.

My Thoughts

As you guys know I love supporting WordPress writers and Kristina is one of my favourites We have been friends for quite a while now and I always enjoy reading new books from her. It’s really inspiring and impressive how well she writes considering English isn’t her first language. I have been lucky enough to see her writing grow and evolve and this book was one of my favourite book from her so far.

This book is written to help women struggling with getting over their ex or moving on from a relationship. It is witty, sometimes anecdotal and amusing but underneath it all there is actually some solid advice on how to move on from a relationship because obviously this isn’t always an easy thing to do. It analysis different situations and gives advice on them and how to better deal with them.

I would definitely recommend checking out this book and all of Kristina’s other books too because she is quite a fascinating writer!

Love In Love In Love – This Love (Guest Post)

I was sent on a mission to earth to find out someone or something that would complete me. I wandered everywhere, following every ray of hope, every soul that I believed would quench my thirst, give me the answer. Everyday was the same until I met you. I never thought you could be possible, it was like a fairy tale. I expected you to have been swayed and blown away by the wind, but you stood there, intact, solid, searching and exploring my deep soul through your hypnotizing eyes. Today is the day I think I’ve succeed. I’ve found you (or is it that you’ve found me?)

I know you’re a military officer and that you’re leaving the state tomorrow for your posting is in the eastern borders of US. I know that I won’t be able to see you for a long time (or maybe never). Before you leave, I want you to know some things that I always had in the back of my head which I couldn’t take the courage to tell you. I’m so proud of you, so proud.

If I turn back time, will the memories get erased too? I know I’m saying things that I can’t even do. So silly in love.

I’m just saying this out of guilt, for making things hard for you, for making you live in tears. So egotistical in love.

But for me, I can’t live outside you. For me, the only times that were colored by you are passing by, fading away, submerged by the domination of fearful consequences. So distressed in love.

I guess love is like that, no matter what you say, it doesn’t feel like it’s filling up. Even if I think it’s just my greed, these feelings won’t go away easily. So gluttonous in love.

If I go back, will I be able to endure all those hard times? When I see you, my lips tremble. When I see your eyes, my heart keeps fluttering. When you look at me and smile, it feels like time will stop. You’re my destiny, I want to protect you until the end of the world. You came to me like a dream and shook up my heart. I love you, are you listening? So absorbed in love.

I know not how you will be in the next 24 hours. I know not every second if I can call myself married or widowed. But I’ll always wish you the best, a hundred times a day. Even if everything changes, this fact that you are my everything, will be left unchanged, unaltered. Even if we can’t see our future, I will always believe in you and wait for you. So sincere in love.

I hope you know that until the end of the world, till your last breath, I’ll be your light, your support, your pain. My tears confess everything. So profound in love.

The only reason I’m alive is because of this love.

Smell Through The ….. (Guest Post)

Recently I’ve had my eyes opened massively . To find out that someone you loved more than anything cheated all the way through your relationship. That also includes sleeping with people. I’ve seen the proof.

I tell you what though it hurts knowing on a night (like so many I did this) I picked her up from town when she was drunk. Moments before shes kissing someone else.

Its all coming out and the proof is undeniable.

And I’m looking through all these messages where she would threaten to kill herself because I couldn’t come over. The amount of times I would have to contact her friends as I was worried about it. The amount of times this was threatened is unbelievable.

All I ever wanted to do was help.

I never see this person now it was years ago I just hope they are in a better place & good luck to the next guy…or the next few.

The Dioramist By Eric Keegan (Book Review)

“Sometimes, when you take a rooted step out the front door, you feel like a song.”

About Eric Keegan:

Eric Keegan has been writing novels and screenplays since 2005 but only recently became an avid and enthusiastic reader. The two hundred books he has read in the past three years have helped him hone his own writing style. Eric likes to go against the grain when crafting his stories.

Eric currently works in manufacturing. When he isn’t working or writing, he seeks inspiration through his travels and in the great outdoors. He has never forgotten his Eagle Scout training and still finds nature a welcome respite from the stresses of daily life.

Amazon And Goodreads Summary:

The titular character in Eric Keegan’s The Dioramist is in the throes of a quarter-life crisis. He may only be in his midtwenties, but the dioramist finds himself lost and confused. He has spent so much of his time in an ill-defined relationship that he doesn’t understand himself apart from his partner.

When a friend suggests that he begin writing down his inner thoughts, hopes, and dreams, our hero sets off on an adventure that shows him a new passion in life. Writing becomes fundamental to his identity, but he isn’t sure if he has the courage to share his thoughts with the world.

At the same time, he struggles with his relationship with his ex-girlfriend Elizian. The two have been in a holding pattern for so long that neither is sure they’re ready to make the next step. As the writer gains enlightenment about his own life, Elizian will be inspired to seek out the same.

This intimate, personal look at one man’s journey shows the many different routes recovery can take and reminds you that it’s never too late to fall in love with something new.

My Thoughts:

I loved reading this book. I’m just going to get right into it and say this was one of my favourite books I’ve read recently. I love Keegan’s flow and the way his books are so free and like a stream of consciousness.

It was also quite relatable because being in your twenties is so super confusing and scary but it’s also where you find yourself and realise what you really want in life.

I would definitely highly recommend checking it out!

Things I Learnt While Blogging

I’ve been blogging for a bit over 3 years and over the years these are the things I’ve picked up so far. Let me know in the comments if they’re relatable!

It’s harder then it looks- I know a lot of people thinking blogging is easy or “not a real job” but if you’re a blogger yourself you know just how much work actually goes into making even just one blog post let alone starting a blog from scratch. It’s super difficult to come up with new ideas to post about every day/other day/week and to actually keep your audience engaged with the content. It’s also much more difficult these days to get a good amount of traffic/following considering how many blogs there are out there making similar content. Blogging can be very time consuming as I have learnt over the years.

Image result for it's harder than it looks gif

It’s super fun- Even though it is a lot of work it’s also a lot of fun at the same time especially if blogging isn’t your full time job (and even if it is!) because there are so many perks of blogging. You get to meet all these amazing bloggers from all over the world and you get to interact with like-minded people you otherwise would probably have never been able to talk to. Plus, you get to share your opinions, thoughts or even just life experiences with others.

It’s a great way to start writing- If you want to do something to do with writing at some point in your life blogging is a great way to start out and gain some experience. I think especially if you are under 18 (or not!) it’s a great start because it teaches you so much about writing and helps you figure out your style/niche/genre and it helps you figure out what people like reading. It’s great practice for free!

It’s fun for introverts- As an introvert myself I’m not a big fan of socializing in person (or getting out of my bed…) but blogging allows you to meet people and socialize with people without having to actually meet or socialize with them! It’s great for introverts or people with social anxiety as it gives them a chance to learn to be more social and meet more people with being overwhelmed because sometimes we want to socialize too but we don’t want to leave our beds (I have a staying in bed problem!).

Happy Birthday, Jane Austen!

Happy Birthday to one of my favourite writers!

Kathy Cherry Books

Jane Austen was born on December 16, 1775 in England.  She authored six books and these books continue to be revered today. Her books include Pride and Prejudice, Emma, Sense and Sensibility, Persuasion, Northanger Abbey, and Mansfield Park.

Jane’s father encouraged her writing back then and even bought her expensive paper and pencils even when the family needed the extra money. She used her father’s library frequently by reading lots of books.

I distinctly remember reading Pride and Prejudice many, many years ago. I loved that book! I dreamt about meeting my own Mr. Darcy some day. But, I also remember Jane’s great sense of wit and wisdom in her writing throughout her novels.

Enjoy a few quotes from Jane Austen’s works:

“It isn’t what we say or think that defines us, but what we do.”
Sense and Sensibility
