“We won’t be perfect. It will be challenging sometimes & we will get frustrated, possibly even overwhelmed with anxiety. That’s to be expected when you have goals and aspirations and passions in life — but the end result will be: a sense of accomplishment, a sense of progress, a sense of productivity and growth. All of those things will come if we DO WHAT WE SAID WE WERE GOING TO DO. ” Sha-lon Moss
In other words, whatever it is you said you would do, that you have to do, that you want to do – DO IT!
The problem is we get caught up on words, we say things but have a difficult time putting forth the action – for example: “I want to open my own gym”, that’s something someone wants to do, but the problem is, they aren’t doing anything about it and if they are doing something — they are running out of patience and not seeking the help they need to make that into an action; in turn, giving up or complaining. I realize owning a gym would be difficult for most people (expenses, responsibility, learning the business side of things, taking a risk, seeking employees, etc. BUT it is POSSIBLE. Maybe in the moment it seems like a…
So I woke up this morning to find that I now have 4000 followers!!!
I just want to take a minute to thank all my amazing followers out there! When I first started this blog I didn’t know what to expect or if it would even work out but I’m so glad I stuck with blogging. It has opened up a whole new world for me. I have made so many friends from around the world that I would otherwise have never known. I’ve learnt so much too and have got so much inspiration from you guys! Thank you for always supporting me and my writing. When I see the likes, follows, shares and comments it really lifts me up and makes a difference in my life. Thank you all for everything and I hope you guys continue to support the blog.
I also want to say there are some changes coming to the blog! I am adding a few new categories which means I’ll be blogging more often now- everyday minus the weekends if possible! I’m really excited about that and don’t worry I’ll still be doing all the other stuff I did, these are just some additions to that!
I just wanted to end this post by saying thank you again for making blogging so amazing for me and your continued support! All this is because of you guys!
Also just wanted to remind everyone this blog is open for guest posts so if you’re interested email me on: firstname.lastname@example.org!

If you’ve ever bought makeup you probably know it can cost way too much sometimes and that’s why I thought I would share some of my favourite affordable makeup products with you guys!
Long-wear Lip Liner Pencil ($1) – Although it is called long-wear I have to admit that if you’re planning on eating with this on you’re probably going to have to touch up but if you’re not going to eat while wearing this it does last quite a while. It also goes on really smoothly and is absolutely one of my favourite lip pencils!
2. Velvet Matte Lipstick ($3) – I love that these colours are pretty matte but not too dry like some of the other matte lipsticks I’ve used. Again they don’t always last so carry it around with you.
3. Total Face Sponge ($4) – I didn’t know what to expect from the sponges but I really liked this one! It’s super soft and pretty easy to blend with!
4. Intense Ink Eyeliner ($3)- like it says in the name it is really intense and I am usually not a fan of eyeliner (because I always mess it up…) but I really like this one! It’s pretty easy to use and I love how dark and intense it looks.
5. Matte Lip Color ($3 per lip color)– These colours are really pretty (I haven’t tried the cranberry one yet but it looks really nice too in the picture!) and really matte. I usually add some lip-gloss over them when I use them since I like a more glossy look but that’s just an option!

So I finally decided to join Instagram! To check out my profile click here.
I decided to join because firstly I wanted to share my blog posts on it and secondly I thought it would be fun to share a bit more of my life and what I’m doing because as much as I try to share on my blog I can’t really share everything I do every 20 seconds because that would be weird and slightly annoying but totally normal on Instagram! 😂
I also wanted to sort of make more memories and I thought this would give me more incentive to go out more often and also try new things. It also help me kind of document my life and this way I have pictures/videos to look back at and remember stuff and smile!
I am also planning on sharing vegan and vegetarian recipes as well as some posts about makeup (like tips and my favourite brands) because I feel like Instagram would be better for that then my blog.
So if you want to get more of an insight into my life and just what it’s like for me day to day as well as vegan/vegetarian recipes or stuff about makeup make sure to follow me and feel free to DM me whenever!
Nowadays, people are striving to be the “best”, the best at sports, work, parenting, school, etc. It seems people steer themselves in the direction of competition in order to come out first, to be granted a reward, to be applauded, and to be remembered as someone with importance. In my opinion, the best thing to do is “be your best self” and that doesn’t mean winning at every sport or getting straight A’s in school; it means living life trying to have a good character, to stand up for what’s right when necessary, following your values/morals that correlate with who you are & choosing to surround yourself with like-minded individuals who don’t want to see you mentally exhausting yourself to be first place ALL THE TIME , but will also be there when you lose.
Being average, doesn’t have to mean being complacent, or going through life with no…
Please help protect the Amazon from irresponsible large-scale mining! It is highly polluting and destructive!
Please sign the petition and send it on to friends.
To the investors of Belo Sun’s Volta Grande project in the Amazon and their shareholders:
Your commitment to sustainability is meaningless if you invest in projects like Belo Sun’s mining project in Volta Grande, in the heart of the Brazilian Amazon. As citizens of the world, we call upon you to use your power to withdraw all your investments from this crazy venture, which threatens to inflict irreversible damage to the environment and the local indigenous communities. It is not too late to make it right.
Brave indigenous tribes are fighting a Canadian mining giant that plans to open a toxic gold mine in the heart of their sacred Amazon lands! One tribe is facing extinction if this disaster goes ahead — now grassroots groups are asking for our help!
