How To Schedule Your Post On WordPress For More View And Follows Part 2

Wow gif

I have been meaning to do this post for quite a while now because I had a couple of requests on my comments section asking me for it. So sorry it took forever and here it is- hope it helps.

For the full tutorial on how to schedule your post click here.

Scheduling your posts so that your posts go up at the optimum time for your blog is a great way to increase views and follows. Here are some ways to find the perfect time to schedule your post:

Check when your optimum reach time is- This is the easiest way to check what day and time you get the best views. In your insights section it will tell you what your most popular day and time is. Try to post at this time regularly and you will notice an increase in views.

Notice when you get more comments- Try posting at different times for a couple of days and check when you get the most comments. Comments are important because they show activity and seeing when you get the most comments will help you figure out when your audience is most active and therefore you can schedule your post to go up at this time to increase activity on your blog.

Early bird or night owl– Most people don’t usually use WordPress throughout the day and like most social media people tend to check it in the morning before nine and in the evenings after six. Scheduling your post to go up at these times will help increase your views and follows since more people are likely

Don’t keep changing the times- Once you are able to figure out your optimum time don’t keep changing the times when you post. Schedule your posts to go up at that time every time you post so that your audience knows when to visit your blog. It is very easy to lose views/follows when you keep posting at different times.

How To Schedule Your Posts On WordPress For More View And Follows Part 1

Wow gif

I have been meaning to do this post for quite a while now because I had a couple of requests on my comments section asking me for it. So sorry it took forever and here it is- hope it helps.

I thought I would write the first part of this blog on how to actually schedule your post. WordPress can be a little tricky sometimes to get the hang of and I thought I would share this post first to help new bloggers learn how they can schedule their posts. The next post will be about the benefits of scheduling your post as well as how to schedule the perfect times for your post to get more views and follows.

  1. Once you are done writing your post on your dashboard go to the right side of the screen where it says “publish” and select the “edit” button.

2. Next pick the time and date you would like the post to be published.

3. After picking the time and date click the “OK” button.

4. After clicking ‘OK’ you will notice that blue button that usually says ‘Publish’ will have changed to ‘Schedule’. Click on the ‘Schedule’ button and this will complete the process of scheduling your post.

Let me know in the comments if this was helpful!

Changing Your Routine To Ease Your Anxiety

As you guys know I talk a lot about anxiety and my experience with it on this blog. I have received so much positive feedback from everyone which is so amazing and I really appreciate it. I’ve also received a lot of comments from people who are going through something similar and so I thought I would share what I’ve been doing recently to help ease my anxiety which has really been helping me a lot.

Technology- You’ve probably heard a lot of people say that technology is bad for people with anxiety or mental illness but I tend to argue against that. I don’t think technology is bad for your anxiety as long as you use it right. There is a lot of stuff that you can do that will worsen your anxiety but there are a lot of benefits too. For example, I love meditation apps (check out my favourite five here), yoga tutorials, and my recent favourite relaxation/meditation music. At the moment I have been listening to Aroshanti’s ‘Zen Relaxation’ album which is doing wonders for me. It is a mix of Japanese Shakuhachi and Chinese Dizi flutes, echoed with Tibetan chanting which has really been helping me relax. I usually listen to the tracks “Compassion”, “Inner Peace”, and “Inner Illumination” in the morning to help start my day with positivity and calmness and in the evening I usually listen to “Acceptance”, “Stillness of Zen” and “Inner Peace” which has really been helping with my insomnia.

Meditation/yoga- Meditation and yoga both in the morning and evenings is really helpful too and if you suffer from anxiety I would definitely recommend trying to meditate or do yoga for at least a few minutes everyday. Meditation has really helped me calm my mind and regain control of my feelings. Yoga is helping to control my body and mind as well as help me open up and be more in touch with my emotions.

Relaxation- A lot of times we are so preoccupied with our life we forget to slow down and just breathe. Seriously, try sitting down and just taking deep breaths! It is such a wonderful experience and really clears your mind and helps get rid of pent up energy/anxiety. I usually like to listen to “Acceptance” or when I feel stressed out I like to listen to “Searching Within Zen” by Aroshanti which helps me think logically and helps me find solutions to my problems without freaking out. You should definitely try taking a few minutes every morning and night to just relax and calm yourself down.

Shamba Cafe Review And Experience

So a couple of days ago I was lucky enough to go to Shamba Cafe with some friends and my sister. It was such a fun and amazing experience I had to share it with you guys.

Firstly we were blown away by how beautiful the place was. There was so much nature and since the area is surrounded by farms the view was incredible. They also grow some of the plants they use in that area.

IMG-20190630-WA0003 IMG-20190630-WA0005

There were also some super cute goats hanging out there! They were super friendly and soooo adorable!

20190629_175037

We had some coffee’s- I had decaf with soy milk cos anxiety is a thing- and MistryLand had the fudge sundae (not sure if that’s what it’s called…). Not going to lie the service was super slow but I get it though because they were super busy the waiters/waitresses are only human. Oh and some people there were celebrating a birthday so they gave everyone cake!!

So the whole place is actually two renovated barns and it has such a cute farm feeling to it. I’m definitely going to go back with my mum- she grew up on a farm and loves farms!

This was the inside of the barn. I can just imagine how cute it would look at night when it’s all lit up!

I was also able to get some organic raw kombucha which was delicious! You can check out the company here.

The Mindset Of A Millionaire (Guest Post)

Growing up as a child, mind I was strange yet fascinating. I have always love numbers and money. I grew up in isolation from the world as a kid and focused half of my life on social media. This is what made me who I am today, an entrepreneur. I see numbers on every object and how I can profit on every item I see. My mind was strange. I would think day and night, listen to podcasts, and browse motivational videos. Am I a millionaire yet? No. Do I see myself as one? Yes.

I will carry that spark of fire in me until the end. (motivation)

As an introvert, I excluded myself from social interactions my whole life even though my goal is to make a difference and impact on the world. I went through a dark path that diverted me into becoming who I am today. The goal I had in mind, is to inspire the kids of many generations and that anything in life is possible.

Success is Inevitable

There will be times where you feel like you want to give up but you know you shouldn’t. You feel lost. But life can only progress if you want to become successful and to me, success is inevitable just like how Thanos believed that he’s inevitable. Except we’re not the villain here but the hero to ourselves.

When you start on a project, you will fail. When you fail, you will learn. When you learn, you will gain new knowledge. When you gain new knowledge, you will twist your blueprint. When you twist your blueprints, you will fail. From all your trial and errors will then lead to a successful path.

You endure pain, sweat, and tears that will leave a stain and trail to your success. Success is inevitable. That is the beginning stage mindset of a millionaire.

You realize you are sacrificing your time that can’t be bought but you know the rewards will be tremendous in the end.

Every Person You Meet is an Opportunity

Every person you meet is an opportunity in my eyes. Whether you meet them online or offline, every person has some knowledge that you don’t know about. To become successful, you exchange your knowledge. You provide them with your service and they provide you with yours. They can be your customer, friend, acquaintance, or even family.

If you help the right people into a successful path, you are already on the right passage to success. These people are the bus of opportunities. You can find jobs because of them, you can survive because of them, or anything that is to your content.

Networking is powerful because every person can shape a little part of you in life while you’re shaping theirs.

The Doubt

No doubt but in life, people will continue to doubt you. Especially when you’re dreaming of bigger things in life, the doubt will come at you every day and night. The bad news is that the majority of doubts will happen at the beginning of your projects. Your family will tell you to find a real career, your friends will say good luck, and strangers will say good luck. The good news happens right after success. Your family will be proud of you, your friends will support you, and strangers will ask you how you did it?

Think of all the famous YouTubers before they were famous. How much were they doubted before they were famous?

I’ve been doubted my whole life but I carried that fire in me and I will continue to do so. To you, as the reader, I hope that you are too. I wish to see you on the greener side of life when we both achieve financial freedom. The days where we can sit on our lawn chairs on top of a yacht. You can light up my cigar and I’ll light up yours. We will celebrate victory together.

The Loneliest Journey

As you know, being an entrepreneur can be quite a lonely journey. You will have hardly anyone to relate to on your projects due to the fact that barely anyone shares the same goal. Your project could be unique because it’s your idea. You can hit depression at times but I’m going to tell you that it’s okay. Life will be tough but time and hard work will heal.

If you have the mindset of a millionaire and are doing well, I applaud you. I struggle with sadness and stress but I know it won’t be for too long. The pain that you endure at the beginning stages will determine how you live your life for the rest of your life. Imagine working a full-time job on your project but having the freedom to build and nurture a plant. The freedom to spend time with your family whenever you want.

I just want to let you know that you will be okay. If you are going through depression, talk to a person or watch motivational videos. If you are stuck, watch tutorials and invent new ideas. If you can endure and carry that fire in your body until the end, I can assure you that success is waiting for you. There will be many bus stops, and waiting at those stops are the bus of opportunities.

We can change and impact the world together.

Thank you to my friend, Pooja~

The Hogtown Vegan- Experience And Review

To check out more posts from my trip to Toronto click here.

So this was the last place we went to and it was definitely our favourite. As you can probably tell by the name it’s vegan and offers a bunch of amazing foods most of which are vegan alternatives for meat based foods. The place itself is really cozy and has a really cool vibe.

We ordered the buffalo wings and the Philly cheesesteak with a side of fries and as you can probably see below their portions were huge. We had to take most of the Philly cheesesteak with us because we couldn’t finish but it was so worth it. The fries were the best fries we had in Toronto and their cheese was so good. It didn’t taste like real cheese that much but it just had such a nice flavour to it that it didn’t even matter. The price was also really good for the amount we got which is always a plus!

Overall, I absolutely loved this place and would definitely recommend checking it out if you’re ever in the neighbourhood. I’m so glad we this was the last restaurant we went to in Toronto because it really lived up to the hype!

Cosmic Treats- Experience And Review

To check out more posts from my trip to Toronto click here.

So Cosmic Treats was the second restaurant we went to on our first day in Toronto. We had heard a lot of good reviews of it online so we were looking forward to it and had high expectations. However, unfortunately we were a little disappointed by it.

So let’s start with the cupcakes. We ordered one vanilla and one chocolate. They both looked really good and the vanilla one had little bunny ears (it was during the Easter weekend). The taste was a little too sugary for us and it was one of those things where the first few bites taste amazing but then your mouth is just like TOO SWEET STOP. The flavour was really good though I can’t complain about that.

IMG-20190504-WA0034

IMG-20190504-WA0035 IMG-20190504-WA0049

We also ordered some cheese sticks to balance out the too sweet cupcakes and to be honest they were only just okay. Like they weren’t bad but they just were not great. Maybe it’s just me and I personally didn’t like it. The filling was jalapeno flavoured cheese which I felt was too jalapeno-ey (I don’t know how else to describe it…). The cheese’s texture was nice though- it was hot and gooey and soft.

IMG-20190504-WA0050

So that was my experience at Cosmic Treats. The cupcakes were nice and the cheese sticks were okay-ish. I would recommend going there just because the neighbourhood is so cool and hipstery you will love it especially if you like graffiti and artsy areas.
