My Favourite Quotes Of All Time (Collab!)

So this post is actually a collaboration post with the amazing David who runs one of my favourite blogs! He also writes a lot of posts with inspirational quotes and we thought it would be super fun to share our favourite quotes with you guys!! Also if you enjoy inspirational posts or are into fitness check out his blog here! It’s definitely worth following!! And don’t forget to check out his version of this post here!

Ever since I can remember I’ve been a huge fan of Mark Twain and even though I never learnt much about him in school I did my own research and the more I read about him the more I admired him not just as a writer but as a human being. He was one of the most intelligent people I have ever read about and I could really relate to what he talked about. So here are two quotes that I have always deeply agreed with and understood.

I feel like a lot of what we learn in school is censored or has very little value in our lives in the future. If you’re really interested in something don’t really on your school or teachers to teach you about it. Do your own research and learn about it yourself!

I couldn’t agree more with this quote. Just because the majority supported something doesn’t mean it is the right thing. Do what YOU believe is right and live your life as you want to.

CHECK OUT DAVID’S POST HERE. It is awesome (and I’m not just saying that because he said nie things about me… okay maybe a little!) 😂

5 Ways To Cut Costs When Travelling

If you’re like me (a very average human being) you know that travelling can get pretty expensive and when you plan any trip ever this is your reaction to everything:

While I was trying to plan a few trips I noticed that there were a few ways to cut down on unnecessary costs so I decided to share them with you guys!

Do Your Research- you can find almost anything online these days so before you book anything like hotels or rentals do a lot of research and you will probably some cheaper ones. Usually places that are just starting out are a lot more affordable than places that have been around for a while. Also research if any of the places your going to be going to have any hidden costs. Pretty much just research as much as you can until you find the most affordable place!

Don’t Fly- In some cases you may have no choice but to fly to your destination but if you can take a train/bus/drive there that would probably be more affordable for you especially if you destination/destinations are close by.

Ask Around Way Ahead- If you know anyone who lives in the place your planning to visit or has been there before it’s probably a good idea to talk to them and get to know where the more affordable hotels, Inns and restaurants are and they probably went through something similar so ask them about their experience and how they were able to cut costs.

Package Deals- From my experience package deals and all inclusive deals are a lot more affordable rather than if you pay for everything yourself and separately so try to find some package deals!

Small Loans- If you still can’t afford the trip but really want to go I would recommend maybe getting a small loan (only if you can pay it back!!). Although I would say keep this as your last option and make sure you get the loan from a trustable source. Earnest offers personal loans for travel, so check them out if you’re looking for a loan with a low interest rate.

An Update!

So I have finally selected all my courses and decided which subjects I’m going to take this year! I just wanted to keep you guys posted about what’s going on with my university process currently.

So I have to take one social science credit, one science credit and any two elective credits. I have decided to take Sociology, Philosophy, Psychology and Earth Science. And of course I have to take one credit for History which is what my major is.

Earth Science is about the planet and stuff to do with it which sounded like so much fun to learn because I am already interested in all that!

I wanted to take English Literature and German too but unfortunately they were clashing with other subjects I am taking so I couldn’t take them but maybe next year! I also wanted to do Political Science but that was clashing too and the first year credits seemed kind of lame so I’ll take it next year!

Did you ever do any of those subjects in university and if so let me know in the comments what they were like!

Introducing A New Category On My Blog!

So I was talking to inkgirlandwords (who by the way has an amazing blog so please check it out IMMEDIATELY) and she suggested I do a category where I talk about some blogs I like with 50 or less followers so as to help grow their blog! I will be talking about 2 blogs today which I really liked:

1. Violeta- she writes short stories with very interesting topics! She started blogging pretty recently and she also takes suggestions for topics to write stories on. If you’re interested in short stories I would highly recommend checking out her blog and even if you don’t particularly like short stories check it out and you might actually love her blog!

2. Ran and Cindy Cindy is an avid reader who loves fantasy and Ran is also into fantasy as well as poetry. If you’re into books or like reading book reviews do check out their blog and I’m sure you’ll find some good books to read next! And if you like photography check out their Instagram pages (you can find a link to them on their blog).

I really hope you guys like this new category and if you have less than 50 followers leave me a link below so I can include you in this category and promote your blog! I really hope you check out the above blogs and show them support because they are really amazing and deserve it!

And don’t forget to like, follow, share and comment if you enjoyed this post!
